Moonlodge with Joy and Danielle

Moonlodge is a celebration of the change of seasons and mid-season. Gatherings are traditionally done every six weeks, eight times a year. By coming together in a sacred circle, we will observe what humankind has done to connect to nature, the elements and our intuitive sides for thousands of years. This moonlodge is observing Hallowed Eve - Samhain pronounced "Sow-in", meaning summer's end. This celebration marks the end of the third and final harvest. It was the end of summer and beginning of the winter for the Celts with Samhain being their official New Year's Eve.

This evening will include coming together in merriment for healing circle, storytelling, chanting, dancing, and meditations that include: connection to sacred spirit of loved ones who have passed and releasing bad habits.

This is a 2 hour event, please bring blankets, mats and pillows for comfort along with a healthy snack to share at the end of our celebration to help ground us.  We welcome you to come dressed in costume to reflect what you would like to become or experience in the Celtic New Year, prizes will be rewarded for best and most original costume!
